Keith Anderson's Home in South Africa?

Could this be Keith Andersons "home" in South Africa? This is 2 Wigtown Rd, Green Point, Cape Town (Top and Middle Photo's). The home appears to have a recent (1960's) upper floor extension. There are Villas behind the house (bottom photo on "Sydney Street") and could have been one big complex on a large block of land. There is no reference to Wightown Villas on Google and locals say they dont know of any place called Wightown.

  1. Hi Gabrielle,

I have just finished Peters book as well. You should also read Ian Mackersey's book "Smithy -The life of Sir Charles Kingsford Smith". I just wanted to say I am very impressed with the good work you have done so far. You have done same amazing research worthy of the best biographical authors. You should write your own biography on Keith and others. You seem to have the capability. I am glad to see someone of your generation embracing this subject.

You can also get in touch with Dick Smith via this address marilyn@dsinv.com.au as I have done in the past regarding the Lady Southern Cross. I think Marilyn is his assistant.
    Well done.

    Mike.

  2. Thank you Micheal. I have contacted Dick Smith and Peter Fitzsimmons who have been very encouraging. Also, Dr Charles Eaton (son of Moth Eaten) and Sally Douglas (daughter of Erric Douglas) the pilots that found and burried Anderson and Hitchock in the desert. My father has been very supportive and we are going to do some more work during the next school holidays. If you have a special interest or more information please feel free to contact me again.
